Like every week, this time too we have got interesting news related to new skins, game mechanics and Season 2. In this post we will know which new skins are coming, what changes are happening and what we will get to see in the future.
This week’s new skins – who’s coming?
This week we’re getting two amazing skins:
- Steam Power Iron Man Skin
- Spider-Punk 2099 Skin
Earlier leaks suggested that we were going to get the Black Panther “Thrice Cursed King” skin this week, but now that could be pushed to next week. Instead, we’ll get two “Beta” and “Alpha” skins.
Spider-Punk 2099 Skin
- This skin was previously available in the beta version , and is now being added to the main game.
- This is an Epic skin , so it won’t have any special visual or sound effects.
- A new emote and a special MVP animation have been added to this skin .
Steam Power Iron Man Skin
- This skin will arrive on March 21 at 2 AM UTC.
- This is also an Epic skin , but its design is based on the 1872 theme , which makes it look quite unique.
- It will feature an MVP animation and emote , showing Iron Man healing his legs.

Season 2 and future plans
Recently, the game director of Marvel Rivals told PC Gamer in an interview that the developers have made full preparations for season 2. Not only this, but season 3 and 4 have also been planned and work is going on on them.
What will be new?
- New Heroes, Maps and Game Modes: Blade is confirmed for Season 2 , and there are rumors that Emma Frost or Jean Grey could also be making an appearance.
- New maps: Kokoa and Orokko were shown in leaks, which now seem almost confirmed.
- Changes in Team-up Skills: In the new season, the team-up skills of some heroes will be changed to make the gameplay more fun.
- Balance Updates: Some changes will be made to balance the strength of Heroes.
The developers also said that they are constantly trying to improve the game by taking into account player feedback .
$900 million case against developer company!
Another big news is that a $900 million lawsuit has been filed against NetEase , the company that developed Marvel Rivals . This case has been filed by Guild Wars producer Jeff Strain , in which he has accused them of interference in business and defamation .
While this isn’t likely to have much of an impact on the game, it will be interesting to see what the outcome is.
Marvel Rivals Comics – A New Chapter
Marvel Rivals is now getting an official comic book , which will launch on April 2. Renowned artist J. Scott Campbell has created 4 exclusive cover arts for this comic , including:

- Luna Snow
- Invisible Woman
- Squirrel Girl

Chance to get FREE in-game currency (Over!)
Recently, Marvel Rivals held a special challenge in which players could win free in-game units . This took place on Reddit , where players had to do the most KOs of Human Torch and The Thing .
The awards were as follows:
- 1000 units – Top Player
- 500 units – next 4 players
- 200 units – next 10 players
- 100 units – to all participants
Although this contest has ended, more such contests may be coming in the future, so keep an eye on Marvel Rivals’ social media .
